City/County Law Enforcement Agency

Being a new structure for Riley County, the Law Enforcement Center operates as a combined city/county law enforcement agency. The new building houses the police operations, investigations, offices, and a jail facility. Specifically, the Jail was designed to house 75 persons of varied classification levels in both direct and indirect supervision settings with design accommodations to expand to 120 inmates. Located in Manhattan, the facility is sited on a prominent intersection in the southwest part of town and is expected to serve the county’s needs for the next 15 years.
