Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, LLC, is a Lawrence, Kansas based pharmaceutical research company. Founded in 2003, Deciphera focuses on drug discovery and development. Continued growth of the company has prompted the need for new and larger laboratory and office facilities.

The proposed new facility will be located within an existing single story speculative office building in the East Hills Business Park. GLPM Architects' scope of work included full service laboratory planning and architectural design services for the interior finishing. The scope of services also included building master planning for future potential start-up laboratory tenants for the remaining unfinished areas of the building.

The Deciphera program included chemistry, biology and tissue culture laboratories, a 400 Mhz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectrometer facility as well as support spaces with private and open office areas. A central mechanical plant will provide the necessary infrastructure for expansion of Deciphera or future laboratory tenants in this building. Deciphera's primary laboratory areas have been designed for ultimate flexibility and potential expansion.
