Remodel

The Memorial Union project created a master plan for the renovation and planned addition to the existing facility. The vision is a vibrant student center that serves the needs of students, faculty and staff. The Master Plan called for the remodel/renovation of all three floors and the addition of a prominent main entry tower on the east side of the building. The plan included new student activity offices and a remodeled entrance to the existing bookstore - both located on the lower level. The renovated main level includes remodeled ballroom space, the addition of a convenience store, copy/business center and new foodservice offices. The upper level has a new lounge and meeting room space. Phase I of this Master Plan included the new main entry tower, a new convenience store, food services offices, and finishing the foodcourt.
