Revitalization

Working closely with the administration of Benedictine College, Treanor Architects created a Master Plan for the revitalization of the Old Gymnasium Building. Once the center of student life and activities on campus, time has taken its toll on the building.

Phase I was completed in 2003 and included a “family room” for a thousand students on-campus and the relocation of The Roost - one of the food service elements on campus adjacent to the book store to create the 'convenience store' concept for students. Eating areas, lounges and recreation spaces were included adjacent to The Roost.

Phase II will include renovation of the gymnasium, locker rooms, gymnastics center, fitness area, racquetball courts and athletic offices.
