Harmony

Located adjacent to the historic Oread neighborhood with many historic houses originating in the mid 1800's, the design of the new scholarship hall was of great concern to the University as well as the neighbors. By locating the building along the street similar to the neighbors; breaking down the massing, scale and materials and incorporating traditional design elements such as the porches, bays, windows and trim, this 50-person scholarship hall will be in harmony with the character of the surrounding neighborhood.
