Retirement Community

Treanor Architects' goal for this project was to create a facility far different from the traditional medical environment of a retirement community. This 64-unit facility is located in a fast-growing suburb of Dallas near a community college, golf course and other amenities. The retirement facility features a hotel-style foyer with lobby, communal dining area, recreation facilities and grounds for group activities, as well as individual one- and two-bedroom apartments. Each level of living area has its own activity area/communal space, and activity and dining rooms are available by reservation for group use.
