This project included the site development and renovation of an existing All Star Dairy Building into an office building complex for Star Group, LLC. The major tenant was Sallie Mae Loan Servicing Center. Originally built as a diary supply and distribution warehouse, the building's use was outdated. Treanor Architects was required to develop a new vision of the building that both modified the use as well as improved the aesthetic quality of the building. As a result of the renovation, the project received a Design Betterment Award from the Lawrence community. The 56,000 square foot building was gutted, the structure reinforced, and all new sub-systems installed. The project transformed an average facility into one of the Lawrence's "gateway" buildings at the West Turnpike exit.
