Family Dining

This diner-inspired restaurant was a collaborative design/build venture between Treanor Architects and Harris Construction. Seating challenges posed by the eatery's diverse clientele were overcome by zoning spaces to accommodate travelers eating quick meals and patrons seeking a family dining experience. The first zone is composed of a tiled area with two-person booths and counter seating; a second area is carpeted and offers seating for four to six diners in larger booths. The metal barrel vaulted ceiling, coat hooks black vinyl seating and stainless steel counter are reminiscent of a train-car diner, but a warm color palette, varied ceiling height, wood accents and carpet given the design a modern flair.
