People's Bank Ottawa

Treanor Architects, P.A. was given the task to transform the existing county branch bank in Ottawa into one that embodies the Peoples Bank philosophy. The existing structure was built in the 1970's and had not been remodeled to date. The existing teller line and safety glass were removed along with the interior vestibule to allow for a more open plan. A new walnut teller line, check writing stand and greeter station were designed and built with copper accents. New hammered steel railings and slate flooring completed the interior finishes. A new exterior entry vestibule was built with cedar beams and copper roof on tongue and grove decking, with stone columns. Our scope of work also included the design of all exterior site signage and the free standing ATM canopy to the west.
