Space for 1,100 Parishioners

The St. Michael the Archangel church in Leawood is a new two-story, 24,566 square foot building that seats 1,100 Parishioners. This building also has space for Parish Offices, Meeting Rooms, an Adoration Chapel, and a 8,700 square foot Parish Hall.

The new St. Michael the Archangel Parish church makes use of the “new Classicism” architectural style.  Reminiscent of the Italian Renaissance, the design provides an architectural connection to Rome and rooted in the history of the Church.  St. Michael is fully a church of the post-Vatican II era.

Dedicated in June 2009, the Church and the ornate Nave provides a breath taking worship home for Parish families.  It is truly a facility designed for future generations.
