Student Residence

Combining both the renovation of the existing structure and the addition of new amenities, this project transformed a some what dated house into a modern, competitive student residence. The addition of an entrance porch, a gathering courtyard, student suites, dining services, communal rooms and study rooms provides a wide variety of new space available for student living/learning activities. A wide range of suites were incorporated including two-, three- and four- person studies as well as four-person apartments. The suites were designed to meet current lifestyles, needs and desires. Balancing the educational space (42%) with the non-educational space (58%), the design maximized fund-raising potential while addressing the current and future resident needs and desires.

The implementation of this program and design ensured an attractive offering in an increasingly competitive student housing market.
