Delta Upsilon Fraternity (KU)

The Delta Upsilon fraternity project included a renovation of the existing building and additions to both the north and south sides. The addition contains a new library and serving area for the dining room, while the living room/gathering area was returned to its original grandeur. The design team at Treanor Architects expanded the existing facility in a manner that was sympathetic to the original architecture yet still accommo- dated the new program requirements. Originally constructed in brick, the new addition utilized the color, brick selection, and details of the original building, however it completed the addition in a fresh manner. Work included expansion of the parking areas and an outdoor plaza.
