Based in Topeka, Kansas, Clayton Financial Services is located in a historic downtown building, which stood until 1909 as a modest single-story structure. In 1909, the owners of both 716 and 718 S. Kansas simultaneously undertook major expansions creating two multi-story structures sharing a single white glazed brick façade.
In 2007 Clayton Financial undertook a complete renovation to create a space that would meet the needs of a 21st century business. The structure was gutted and converted into modern office and conference spaces with design and infrastructure to accommodate modern electronic needs.
The project, which was completed in 2008, utilized a downtown redevelopment grant provided by downtown Topeka, Inc. and funded by the City of Topeka.
