Addition and Remodeling - Phase II

Treanor Architects in conjunction with HOK Architects was hired by Johnson County to provide comprehensive design services for the construction of an addition to the New Century Adult Detention Facility (Phase II) and associated remodeling of the existing facility.

The $52 million project includes 554 new beds, administrative segregation, disciplinary segregation, maximum custody, special needs, and medium/minimum custody beds as well as a remodel of the existing facility to accommodate projected inmates and staff.

The new building is connected directly to the existing facility with a secure link.
