Wright County Criminal Justice and Courts Building
Hartville, MissouriCourthouse and Jail Addition
Treanor Architects was selected to provide architectural design services for an addition to the Wright County Courthouse and Jail. The new 30,968-square foot addition will include one new courtroom and associated judicial spaces, a new 60-bed jail facility, sheriff’s office and jail support space, as well as space for the county assessor and Missouri Extension Office currently housed in outdated buildings across from the existing courthouse.
The project also includes a remodel of the existing second-floor courtroom and a reconfiguration of existing second-floor office areas into space for prosecuting attorney and county administrative services. The existing building is located in the Hartville town center, and care was taken to maintain the existing building image in the design of the new addition and in creating a new entrance and entry plaza.
The project is on hold pending funding.
